Statewide Silver Alert declared for 80-year-old Newton County woman

NEWTON COUNTY, Ind. – A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared for Doris Vazquez, an 80-year-old white woman, who is missing out of Demotte, Ind., according to the Newton County Sheriff’s Office.

Vazquez is described as being five feet two inches tall, 148 pounds, having black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen driving a 2014 Ford Focus hatchback with Indiana plate UWO601. Vazquez was last seen in Demotte, Ind. on Friday at 10:30 am.

She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
