The dog days of summer are here, hot and humid weather lasting through the weekend with a heat index above 90 degrees. There is a chance of rain, scattered showers and storms Friday and another round Saturday evening. High temperatures could reach 90 before the heat breaks next Thursday with more showers and storms.
