Still quiet today, wetter into middle of week

Michiana has one more calm, mild day before a turbulent week. Mostly cloudy skies today, with showers likely in the evening hours across all of our area. Rain lingers into the morning hours of Tuesday though we clear into the afternoon; clouds stick in place however, all in front of a cold front passing through Tuesday overnight. This brings another, more scattered chance of rain, but more importantly quite the drop in temperatures. Up until Wednesday, highs have been climbing into the mid 50s, but we drop to below average conditions mid-week. Likely seeing highs in the low 30s for Thanksgiving and Black Friday, with a chance for Lake Effect Snow Wednesday into Thursday. At the moment models are pushing for mainly westerly flow with this event, meaning our southwestern Michigan counties would be the most impacted, though portions of central Michiana will likely see some flakes through Turkey Day itself as the winds shift. More widespread snow expected next weekend, likely impacting travel in the Midwest.

Today: Gathering clouds, mild. High 53.
Tonight: Showers late. Low 45.
Tuesday: Morning showers, afternoon clouds, still mild. High 54.
Wednesday: Cloudy and breezy, colder. High 40.
