Storm Damage in Bourbon

Friday's storms caused some property damage in Bourbon, Ind.

A large tree fell on top of Benjamin Brooks' home, causing flooding in some areas of the house.

“All of a sudden I heard a crash. I actually thought it was lightning at first, until I heard my neighbor screaming,” Brooks said.

Rain began to pour through the roof.

“I looked in the back and there was water pouring through the roof,” Brooks said.

Authorities say Brooks' home is the worst damage they've seen in Bourbon from Friday's weather.

Brooks is looking on the bright side.

“I'm just glad no one got hurt. The house can be replaced. People can't,” Brooks said.

Other properties had minor damage in Bourbon.

Some yards and sidewalks were completely flooded.

Dozens of large tree branches cover the streets, and numerous trees fell.
