Scattered showers are likely throughout the morning hours and will transition to lake effect showers this afternoon after the cold front finally pushes through Michiana. Winds will also be a factor today, gusting to 30 mph at times. Temperatures will remain steady in the lower 60s for the next few hours before falling throughout the day into the lower 50s by the afternoon. Any L.E. showers in area should fade away Sunday night into early Monday morning, finally bringing an end to the stormy pattern.
The work week continues to look sunny and dry with cool highs near 60 for Monday. But, several days of sunshine and warmer winds out of the south and west allow our highs to climb back into the lower 70s by Friday.
Today: Cloudy with morning rain transitioning to lake effect showers in the afternoon. Windy. Morning high of 63 with temps falling into the lower 50s by the end of the day.
Tonight: Lake effect showers ending, then partly cloudy. Low of 44.
Monday: Mostly sunny. Highs near 60.
Tuesday: Sunny. Highs in the mid 60s.
