NOW: Strong storms likely this evening before a much cooler Thursday

ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast

Wednesday, July 16, 2025

Another round of showers and thunderstorms will move through Michiana early this evening. Gusty winds, small hail, and heavy downpours are possible as this line of storms races through. The best chance for severe weather will be along the lakeshore, but all of Michiana could see an isolated strong storm or two. Storms will end around midnight, but skies will remain cloudy through much of Thursday. As such, temperatures will fall significantly, with highs only reaching the middle 70s. Humidity levels will be way down, too. Friday will be the nicest weather day of the week with highs in the low 80s and partly cloudy skies. Rain and storm chances will return for the weekend, although the better chance for widespread showers will be on Saturday versus Sunday. Next week looks hot with Michiana in the favored corridor for storms as well.

Tonight: Showers/storms this evening, then cloudy. Low 71.

Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy, breezy and much cooler. High 75.

Friday: Partly cloudy and pleasant. High 82.

Saturday: Showers possible early with thunderstorms arriving in the afternoon and evening. High 82.
