Students rally around their fellow classmate

MOUNT HOPE, Ala. -- Some students in Alabama are rallying around their classmate going through time with the help of fashion.

Victoria Lopez picked up a outfit for her special day back at school---complete with bandanna---to cover scars from a recent surgery.

Last month, a nail gun was accidentally shot through her head.

And now her friends and classmates are sharing her new fashion trend to help her feel more comfortable.

"She was afraid that everyone would make fun of her because she would be the only one with a bandanna," Carry Perry, Victoria's best friend, said.

"I didn't know what people would think about me when I wore them," Lopez said.

Her friends banded together to show their support with some flare.
