Suspects arrested in armed robbery at Stevensville Meijer

STEVENSVILLE, Mich.—The Lincoln Township Police Department have arrested two suspects in an armed robbery that occurred at a Meijer store on December 19.

Felony warrants were issued on December 21 for four suspects.

Two of the suspects, the male gunman and the female involved in the incident turned themselves in at the Berrien County Courthouse on January 2.

At approximately 12:25 a.m. on December 19, police officers with the Lincoln Township Police Department responded to reports of an armed robbery at the Meijer store located at 5019 Red Arrow Highway.

Upon arrival, officers determined that three male suspects and one female suspect entered the store and attempted to remove various electronic items and other merchandise.

One of the suspects displayed a handgun and pointed it at employees before all suspects ran from the store.

Investigators identified one person connected to the crime within 12 hours of the incident.

Using security footage, records, witness interviews, and assistance from the Benton Harbor Police Department, three adults between the ages of 17 and 20 and one 16-year-old were identified as suspects by 7 p.m. on December 20.

The suspected weapon pointed at employees was recovered and identified as a CO2 Air-soft pistol with no safety markings on it.
