SWET seize firearms and drugs in multiple Michigan counties

MICHIGAN - The Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) executed a residential search warrant on Wednesday in the 100 block of Mary Street in Hartford.

Authorities located delivery amounts of cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, and crack cocaine during the search.

Documents state evidence of illegal drug sales was located, along with an illegal firearm.

SWET arrested a 36-year-old Hartford man for possession with intent to deliver cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine.

Further charges include felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, and maintaining a drug house.

As a result of the Hartford warrant, authorities learned of another residence located in the 1500 block of North Watervliet Road in Watervliet where a second search warrant was executed later on Wednesday.

Authorities say more crack cocaine, a firearm, and evidence of drug distribution, were located at this residence as well.

Multiple gun and drug charges will be submitted against a 35-year-old woman located at the Watervliet residence, according to documents.
