Talking politics at the Thanksgiving table

The elections are over and family time is just beginning.

Thanksgiving means lots of good food and perhaps a little too many political conversations.

ABC 57 was out this week talking to people about getting ready for Thanksgiving and all that togetherness.

And we found that while many welcome political discussion at the table, this year Thanksgiving just might not be the place to have it .

IUSB Professor De´ Bryant says it’s all about control.

"The notion that just disagreeing is automatically going to spiral into this thing that's totally out of control, that's something you can counter with in the beginning, when people come together,” said Bryant.
