The annual Truck or Treat event is back in St. Joseph, Michigan

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. -- The annual Truck or Treat event is back Saturday Oct. 25 from 4 to 6 p.m. The City of St. Joseph invites families and friends to take a close up look at the vehicles that make the city run.
During the Truck or Treat event, children can visit each vehicle and piece of equipment for treats, take a closer look at the vehicle, and learn more about how they operate.
There will be a total of 16 construction, public works, and public safety vehicles.
New this year, the event will be relocated to Lake Boulevard in the downtown area, between Elm and Pleasant Streets.
“The move downtown gives us a little more room for both the vehicles and attendees,” said the Director of Special Projects and Communications for the City of St. Joseph, Kayla Griffith. “It’s also a great opportunity to make a fun day or evening of the event; we encourage families to come downtown, trick or treat and grab dinner or browse the local shops.”
Lake Boulevard, between Elm and Pleasant Streets, as well as the 500 block of Broad Street will be closed on Saturday for the event.
Access to the Blueberry, Cherry, and Apricot parking lots will remain open via the alley.
