After closure in 2020, YMCA reopens in downtown
ELKHART, Ind. – The City of Elkhart will be handing out 25,000 P-P-E bags over the next two weeks.
Anyone living in Elkhart that needs personal protective equipment can get some for free.
The bag contains:
- Masks
- Hand sanitizer
- Postcards with COVID-19 safety guidelines.
The first hand out will take place Saturday, December 12, from 10:30 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. at the Council of Aging.
The remaining bags will be handed out over the next week and a half.
The city is also partnering with Elkhart Community Schools to hand out gift cards to those struggling financially.
