The History Museum offering summer programs for kids

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A new series of summer programs for kids is being launched at The History Museum for youth aged pre-K to third grade.

Summer at Kidsfirst will take place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday, offering a new topic each time.

Story Time Tuesdays will have children exploring different objects and gathering around a costumed interpreter reading a related story aloud.

On Science Thursdays, children will examine fossils, rocks, and other geological items.
