The Norovirus blamed for the illness outbreak at Notre Dame

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The Norovirus is to blame for the outbreak at the Notre Dame campus during a youth sports campus.

The St. Joseph County Health Department announced that more than 100 kids attending the camp were affected by the stomach bug.

The contagious virus can be spread by a person, contaminated food, water, or surfaces.

Most people recover in about one to three days.
