The South Shore Line will temporarily bus passengers between Carroll Avenue and South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – There will be temporary busing August 10th through the 14th between Carroll Ave. and South Bend.

The South Shore Line will be busing while they upgrade their track and segments of overhead wire between Michigan City and South Bend.

Buses arriving and departing with passengers will match the weekday train schedule.

Bus service to and from Hudson Lake Station will not be available during this time. Hudson Lake passengers are encouraged to board at Carroll Avenue station.

Additionally, westbound Tr 422 and Tr 424 and eastbound Tr 401 operating exclusively between Michigan City and South Bend are canceled during this busing schedule.

Take note that no bikes will be able to be transported on a bus between South Bend and Carroll Ave. during this time.

Westbound passengers departing from South Bend will board buses just north of the train platform at the South Bend International Airport.

Eastbound passengers destined for South Bend will get off their trains at Carroll Avenue and board a bus for the remainder of their trips to South Bend.
