There’s a new baby animal at the Indianapolis Zoo you won’t want to miss

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Indianapolis Zoo has a new resident--an adorable baby gazelle named Carina.

Carina is a rare Addra gazelle, a species that is critically endangered in the wild.

She has been hand-reared by zoo staff the last few months when her mother was unable to care for her.

Bottle-fed several times per day and receiving care, she is now five months old.

Zoo keepers say she is energetic and very playful.

Carina will be introduced to guests of the Indianapolis Zoo later this spring.
