Three in critical condition after driver fails to yield

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department reports dispatch received a call regarding a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US 31 and S.R. 10 around 6:15 p.m. on Sept. 12.

Argos police had arrived on scene and informed Marshall County deputies there were multiple people with injuries.

The investigation determined a 2021 Toyota Corolla, driven by 47-year-old Joshua Brett of Shoals, Ind., attempted to cross northbound lanes, but failed to yield to traffic and was struck by a 2017 Ford F-150, driven by a 41-year-old Plymouth man.

Authorities say Brett and his two passengers were all taken to Memorial Hospital in serious, life-threatening condition.

The Plymouth man was taken to the Plymouth Hospital for additional care.
