Three Rivers Police arrest suspect in strong armed robbery

Three Rivers Police made an arrest in a strong armed robbery after a K9 tracked the suspect to a residence.

Police were called to the 600 block of Millard Street around 11:30 p.m. Saturday and spoke with the victim, who was a teenager.

She told police the suspect assaulted her and stole cash from her.

Police brought K9 Jake to the scene and tracked the suspect to the 200 block of Lincoln Street.

Officers spoke with several people in the residence and located a 16-year-old male who matched the suspect description.

After speaking with the male, he was taken into custody on preliminary charge of strong arm robbery.

He was taken to juvenile holding. His name was not released.
