ELKHART, Ind. -- The Tolson Center for Community Excellence is hosting the Spelling Bee Explosion, an energetic, youth-centered academic competition powered by Gentlemen and Scholars, Inc., on Jan. 25. 

The spelling bee will begin at 1 p.m. and will take place at the Tolson Center in Elkhart. 

The event is free and open to the public. 

Dr. Breanna Allen, Executive Director of the Tolson Center, will host Spelling Bee Explosion, and Robert Taylor will be a special guest judge. 

“Spelling is more than memorization, it's about confidence, preparation, and believing you belong on the stage,” said Dr. Allen. “This event reflects our commitment to creating spaces where young people are celebrated for their brilliance and encouraged to lead with courage,” says the leaders of Gentleman and Scholars.
