Town of Roseland holding collaborative food giveaway April 13
ROSELAND, Ind. -- The Town of Roseland, along with Cultivate Food Network and Brick of Hope Ministries, will be holding a food giveaway this Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to noon, or until food runs out, at 309 N. Dixie Way.
"As a member of the recently founded Redemption political party, I am eager to serve the people of Roseland in various capacities," said Roseland Town Council President Michael Schalk. "This food giveaway is just one of many initiatives we have planned to support our community and create a positive change."
Organizers say this collaborative effort aims to address the critical issue of food insecurity within the community.
"The event is set to provide essential food items to individuals and families in need, fostering a sense of unity and compassion within the Roseland community," Schalk said. "The collaboration with Cultivate Food Network and Brick of Hope Ministries enhances the outreach and effectiveness of the food giveaway, ensuring a broader reach and greater impact."
