A travel advisory (yellow) means that travel or activities could be restricted due to hazardous road conditions where drivers are asked to stay off roadways if possible.

A travel watch (orange) means conditions could be dangerous for those traveling. Only essential travel such as going to work and emergency situations is recommended.

A travel warning (red) is the highest level of a travel advisory, with travel possibly restricted to emergency management crews. Individuals are asked to refrain from traveling and to comply with any necessary emergency measures set in place such as cooperation with disaster services forces, public officials and officers.
