Treats on the Trail turns Pinhook Parik into a family trick-or-treat route
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Venues Parks & Arts held its annual Treats on the Trail event at Pinhook Park.
The free trick-or-treating event allowed families in costume to walk the park trail and collect candy from local businesses.
"Sometimes there's a lot of events that separate the families. It might just be for the kids or just for the adults, but this particular event is for the entire family," said Cynthia Taylor, director of community programming for Venues Parks & Arts.
Taylor said the event has grown each year and hopes it keeps growing, "I would like to see additional businesses and organizations participate, to make it even bigger and better, so that families can come out and do even more other than just getting candy. They could do activities and games as a family together."
The event also featured food trucks, music, and even photo frames where families could pose for pictures.
