Trial date set for South Bend man accused of murdering his own son

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A trial date was set for a South Bend man accused of beating his son to death.
35-year-old Terry Sturgis is charged with Murder and Battery.
Police said that he tortured and killed his 10-year-old son, Tramelle, in November.
The defense claims Sturgis is insane.
Right now, he's still being evaluated by doctors.
Sturgis is set to go to trial on May 14, 2012.
