Temperatures fall from near 50 this morning into the 30s by the evening. It is still breezy which will make it feel even colder at times. Lake effect snow develops late this evening, bringing the chance for around 1” of snow in NW Michiana. Lake effect snow tapers off Saturday morning with a few breaks of sunshine. Temperatures warm back near 40 Sunday and Monday but a system sweeps through New Year’s Eve bringing mainly rain. As cold air drops in behind the system for New Year’s Day, lake effect snow will be possible. For any travelers, keep in mind roads could turn slick.
Today: AM chance of rain, temperatures falling from the low 50s. Mostly cloudy and breezy.
Tonight: Light lake effect snow, low of 28.
Saturday: Chance of snow early, high of 33.
Sunday: Partly cloudy, high of 38.
