Two arrested after police seize drugs, guns and cash
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police arrested two people and seized drugs, guns and cash as part of an investigation into suspected drug activity.
South Bend Police served several search warrants in the 600 block of S. 27th Street and the 5000 block of Sunnyfield Place
During the searches, police recovered approximately 80 grams of heroin/fentanyl, two firearms and approximately $4,000 in cash.
James Felix III was arrested on preliminary charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, dealing cocaine or narcotic drug, possession of cocaine or narcotic drug, possession of marijuana.
Sheaunta Hardnette was arrested and has been charged with possession of marijuana
The ATF, US Marshals, DEA and Mishawaka Police, assisted in the operation.
