Two local students awarded scholarships from Indiana Sheriff’s Association

St. Joseph County Police Department: Sheriff Redman with Adam Kinzie and Caroline Smith

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department announced two local students have each been awarded the Indiana Sheriff’s Association scholarship for $750.

The Indiana Sheriff’s Association awards 40 scholarships annually to graduating high school seniors across Indiana who are pursuing a career in criminal justice or a related field.

Adam Kinzie is graduating from John Adams High School and will attend Indiana University South Bend in the fall, where he plans to major in Criminal Justice.

Caroline Smith is graduating from Granger Christian School and will attend Ball State University to major in Criminology.
