Two teens arrested for allegedly fighting at school

ELKHART, Ind. -- Two teenagers were taken into custody after they allegedly got into a fight at Northside Middle School, according to Elkhart Police.

Police were called to the school around 2 p.m. Tuesday after a 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old girl got into a fight, reports said.

Staff members had already broken up the fight by the time police arrived.

Both teens were taken to the Elkhart County Juvenile Detention Center on preliminary charges of battery.
