NOTRE DAME, Ind -- As college football fans ascend on Notre Dame one of the iconic places they hope to visit is 'Touchdown Jesus.'
The “Word of Life” mural was installed on the facade of the Hesburgh Library in 1964.
But what many fans don’t see is on the 13th floor of the building named after him, sits an office where Father Ted Hesburgh spent many years of his retirement overlooking the university he helped build.
For the very first time we were given an exclusive tour of that still sacred space.
