UPDATE: Did Head of Metro Homicide threaten a SBPD officer?

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- We have word from the Prosecutor's Office on the investigation into accusations made by a South Bend police officer.

The office is investigating whether or not the Head of Metro Homicide, Tim Corbett, threatened South Bend Police Officer Jack Stilp.

Stilp told us that Corbett made the threat after he publicly supported the demoted chief.

The Prosecutor's Office said interviews have been conducted and the information will be shared with the County Metro Homicide Board at its next meeting on August 3.
