SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- In a three-and-a-half-hour board meeting Monday evening, the South Bend Community School Corporation (SBCSC) discussed some findings of an ongoing investigation.
Tim Corbett and Joe Speybroeck were the two investigators hired back in January to look into any allegations of illegal or unethical conduct within the corporation over the past five years.
Several subjects were discussed, including a supposed false graduation rate, allegations centering the SBCSC Brown Administration Building renovation, and allegations of altering students' grades.
They clarified the findings are not final but rather serve as an update for the public. At this point, they are not definitive or complete, and they will continue investigating the allegations.
