UPDATE: Muppet Mobile restoration moving right along

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Muppet Mobile from the original movie is a few steps closer to being fully restored.
Back in December, the Studebaker Museum announced plans to restore the 1951Studebaker Bullet Nose Commander.
Since then, the Studebaker Museum in South Bend said that they have received a few checks to help out with the restoration.
Frank Oz operated the car from the trunk in the 1979 film, The Muppet Movie.
The car is currently on loan to a museum in Allentown, Pa. but will return to South Bend.
