UPDATE: Woman arrested after van and building catch fire

ELKHART, Ind – An Elkhart woman has been arrested after officials said she crashed her van into a mobile office, catching both the building and car on fire.

Police arrested 40-year-old Julie Johnson for leaving the scene of an accident.
Fire officials said alcohol may be a factor.
Officials said Johnson left a path of destruction before crashing into the portable building on the 2700 block of Oakland Avenue, around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Road signs were knocked down and debris was spewed across Oakland Avenue in the roundabout at Hively Avenue.
It appeared Johnson drove erratically off the road.
Tire tracks etched in the snow showed a crazy path, leading to All Brand RV Repair, which is set far back from the road.
Johnson’s van and the mobile building are charred from the flames. Officials said both are a total loss.
Police were blocking off the road, but cleared the scene around 12 a.m. Thursday.
