Vehicle damaged by gunfire on Aspenwald Avenue

ELKHART, Ind. -- A woman contacted Elkhart Police Tuesday afternoon after she discovered her vehicle had been damaged by gunfire.
The victim told police she heard gunfire outside her home around 2:45 p.m. When she went outside, she discovered her car had been struck by bullets.
The bullets caused damage to the roof, door, fender and taillight.
There were no reported injuries.
