NILES, Mich. – Katrina Sink, 43, was the woman killed in a snowmobile accident on Feb. 3rd, according to the Michigan State Police.

Douglas Sink, 41, was also involved in the crash and is still in the hospital.

Around 1:37 a.m. officials were called to Carmody Road in Hagar Township for a single unit snowmobile crash.

MSP said Katrina was the passenger on the snowmobile and was ejected, sustaining a fatal head injury.

Her husband was the driver, and obtained serious back and pelvis injuries.

The crash is still under investigation due to pending toxicology and autopsy results.
