Starke County face-to-face with severe weather
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- On Dec. 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Village Food Pantry hosted a community coat drive at the Charles Black Center.
They distributed coats for sizes four to eighteen and additional items like hats and gloves.
Approximately 500 coats are available for distribution.
Lashawna Love, founder of the village food pantry, stated, " Well, for me, I think it's a sense of community. It's a sense of definitely love partnership, and the fact that it takes a village.
