Benzene is not an ingredient in any Banana Boat products but a review found unexpected levels of benzene in the propellant that sprays the product out.

No other batches of the Hair & Scalp sunscreen and no other Banana Boat products are part of the recall.

Benzene is a human carcinogen and exposure to it can result in cancer and blood disorders.

Edgewell has not received any adverse events related to the recall.
