Little change in the forecast is expected through mid-week, as conditions will be similar to today—highs in the low to mid 80s with abundant sunshine.
Temperatures tonight will fall to the 50s under clear skies, allowing for substantial overnight cooling. Some areas near the lake shore could wake up to patchy fog early tomorrow morning. A strong ridge—or high pressure—will continue the pattern of dry and unseasonably warm temperatures through Wednesday. Temperatures cool slightly through the first week of October but will still hover above average. Drought will likely worsen as zero rain chances persist through the next week or so.
