Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy, very warm, and humid. Temperatures will fall through the 80s this evening before only dropping into the lower 70s by Tuesday morning. More hot and humid weather awaits us on Tuesday. There could be a stray shower or thunderstorm during the afternoon as highs approach 90 degrees. More widespread storms will likely develop late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. A second round of showers and storms is possible by Wednesday afternoon as well. Highs will finish in the middle 80s. A few of those storms could be strong with gusty winds and small hail possible. A few light showers could linger into Thursday, but we look MUCH cooler by the second half of this week. Highs will struggle to reach the 70s on Thursday and won't be able to get there on Friday, with temperatures maxing out in the upper 60s to start the weekend.
