It is a very damp start to your Thursday with scattered showers and drizzle lasting through today. There is light fog right now but it could thicken up later this morning into the afternoon. Commutes into work should be pretty easy despite the rain. Due to the melting snow and rainy conditions, localized flooding and ponding on the roads will be possible. Temperatures warm up near record breaking, already near the middle 50s this morning!
The cold air returns overnight, turning rain into freezing rain and sleet. Ice accumulations will be possible so commutes Friday morning will likely be slick. The wintry mix briefly turns to snow but little accumulation is expected. Lake effect snow develops Saturday afternoon with more snow possible on Monday from a Clipper system.
Today: Rain and fog, high of 55.
Tonight: Rain turning to freezing rain and sleet, low of 28.
Friday: Wintry mix and snow showers in the morning, high of 28.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy, PM lake effect snow showers, high of 20.
