September is starting with another brisk morning near the 50 degree mark.
This afternoon is warm and sunny with highs in the low 80s.
Your Friday night plans will have a green light, as skies are still clear and fall through the 70s and 60s this evening.
Tonight our lows dip into the mid 50s, so be prepared for that if you're out tailgating early for Notre Dame Football Saturday morning.
Otherwise, the warming trend continues through the holiday weekend. Highs are in the upper 80s Saturday, then low 90s Sunday and Monday.
It will start to feel a little muggier through the weekend too.
The heat is still in the low 90s Tuesday, but a few showers are possible Tuesday night and Wednesday, and that will help temperatures cool into the 80s for the remainder of the week.
