WARSAW, Ind. -- Kosciusko County Officials issued a report on an investigation surrounding a fatal All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) crash on a property in Warsaw on Sept. 27.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency personnel responded to calls on Friday at 3:10 p.m. regarding an ATV accident, with both the ATV and the rider found within a pond. 

Emergency personnel arrived on scene and located a Suzuki 4-wheeler, and a male partially submerged in the pond.

The ATV driver was pronounced dead at the scene and was later identified as 73-year-old Thomas J Bussell from Warsaw.

The investigation determined that the ATV was driving around the pond and for reasons unknown, drove off the grass and into the water.
