Weatherman vs. Wild: Meteorologist Tom Coomes documents vacation beard

ABC 57’s First Warning Neighborhood Meteorologist Tom Coomes took a week-long trip out to the Pacific Northwest and came back looking a little more rugged than when he left.

Tom and friends visited Oregon and Southern Washington on a camping trip, exploring the two states beautiful coasts, mountains, forests, lakes and hiked along scenic trails.

Tom took the time to document his beard growth through photos going from clean shaven, to mountain weatherman.
