Prepare for an active weather day today. Early this morning, primarily in our southwest Michigan counties, there is a potential for a small amount of freezing rain or freezing drizzle. Roads could be slick in a few areas.
Areas that are already above freezing early this morning are seeing rain, and even a few thunderstorms to the south.
As temperatures climb above freezing through the morning, we will see precipitation turn to a cold rain across the remainder of Michiana.
Rain continues all day and into the overnight. In total, this system could bring around 2" of rain, so some minor flooding is possible.
It will be breezy Wednesday, with wind gusts 25-30 mph.
Although it dries out heading into Thursday, the wind continues to pick up - gusts tomorrow 45+ mph are possible. This will help us warm into the mid 50s tomorrow, but we crash quickly again near 30 degrees Friday.
A few snow showers are possible Friday overnight.
The weekend looks dry with temperatures in the 40s, and a little sunshine is possible by Sunday.
We'll prepare for another round of wind and rain Monday.
Today: Rainy. Breezy. High 40.
Tonight: Rainy. Breezy. Low 38.
Thursday: Windy. Partly cloudy. High 56.
Friday: Mostly cloudy. High 30.
