It’s a blustery first day of November. Wind continues to gust 40-45 miles per hour today. There is a lakeshore flood warning for Lake Michigan as waves build 10 to 16 feet today. This could cause significant erosion to beaches, and some road closures may be necessary. Skies stay overcast today, and there is a chance for a few lake effect showers this afternoon and evening. Precipitation could fall as a wintry mix or even a few snowflakes. Any accumulation of snow will be minor, and likely only in grassy areas. Temperatures continue to fall this morning, then stay steady in the upper 30s this afternoon.
Overnight is still breezy, but clouds begin to clear. Temperatures fall around 30 degrees. The work week starts cool with a high Monday of 48, but it should be a mostly sunny day. Temperatures warm into the 60s starting Tuesday, and we’ll continue to see dry weather, sunshine, and 60 degree days through at least next weekend.
Today: Windy and overcast. Occasional rain showers/wintry mix. Afternoon temperatures in the upper 30s.
Tonight: Clouds clearing late. Windy. Low 30.
Monday: Mostly sunny; breezy. High 48.
Tuesday: Sunny. High 60.
