There are a few areas of fog this morning, which could become dense in spots. As winds pick up fog will dissipate and winds only continue to pick up throughout the day, gusting around 30-40 mph. We’ll have a few light rain showers pass through around midday. As temperatures continue to drop this evening, lake effect snow will develop and last through Wednesday. 1-3” of snow is possible in our Michigan counties and northern Indiana counties while areas to the south will see less than an inch. Roads could be slick with areas of low visibility in lake effect bands.
A few flurries could hang on into Thursday morning, otherwise clouds will start to break up some. Temperatures remain cold through the rest of the week with another chance of snow Saturday.
Today: Cloudy, chance for rain showers, highs in the mid-40s.
Tonight: Lake effect snow, cloudy. Low of 23.
Wednesday: Lake effect snow, cloudy. High of 26.
Thursday: Morning snow showers, mostly to partly cloudy. High of 28.
