Woman accused of forging prescription for morphine

A former employee of a medical practice has been charged with forging a prescription for morphine, according to court records.

On August 9, 2019, Laura Friske attempted to fill a prescription for morphine at the CVS on SR 933 in South Bend, according to the probable cause affidavit.

The doctor whose practice was listed on the prescription said the doctor who wrote the prescription no longer works at that office and no one from the office prescribed Friske morphine, reports said.

Friske is a former employee of the doctor's office.

Friske was charged with one count of forgery of prescription for legend drugs.
