Woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend during argument
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. -- A woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend during an argument about her vehicle, according to the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies were dispatched to the 57000 block of Oak Park on May 15 at 1:15 p.m. to investigate a stabbing.
The victim told police he and his girlfriend had been arguing over her vehicle.
The victim had taken her vehicle to go to work, but had returned the vehicle and the keys at her request, reports said.
The woman started yelling at the man and he got into the car, deputies said.
The suspect also got into the vehicle and hit the victim's head three times and tried to pull the victim out of the car, reports said.
She then pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the victim under his arm, reports said.
The victim was treated at the hospital and released.
The suspect was taken into custody on a preliminary charge of felonious assault and domestic assault.
