Woman killed in convenience store robbery

MERRIVILLE, Ind.-- A 48 year old convenience store clerk was killed during a Sunday afternoon robbery.
Judi Simpson-Beaver was shot and killed while working at The Lucky Mart Foods, in Merriville.
Simpson-Beaver had only been employed there for a few months after moving from Texas. She wanted to be closer to family.
Her funeral will be held Friday, March 9th at Burns Funeral Home in Crown Point, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
