Woman pleads guilty to robbing man in wheelchair

ELKHART, Ind. – A woman pleaded guilty to robbing a homeless man in a wheelchair outside of an Elkhart church in June 2020, The Elkhart Truth reported.
Felicia Ware, 50, pleaded guilty to one count of robbery.
On June 29, Ware and 45-year-old Antrell Omar allegedly hit the man and took $30 in cash from him outside Central Christian Church on West Franklin Street.
The incident was caught on surveillance video.
Ware accepted a plea agreement on Thursday.
Her sentencing is scheduled for May 5.
Omar is also facing a robbery charge.
His trial is set to begin at the end of August.
