ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart skies will be full of air crafts Saturday morning thanks to the Young Eagles free flights for kids event. The event starts at 9 a.m. and runs until noon. Registration is encouraged, but not required.
The Young Eagles Program is the only one of its kind with the sole mission of inspiring children in the world of aviation. This program has helped over two million kids, with the help of EAA’s network and volunteers, to make their dreams into reality.
The program founded in 1992, has dedicated nearly 25 years to giving youth aged children, 8 to 17 years old, a chance to experience their first flight ever.
In addition families attending this free event will get a tour of the control tower and static displays.
